We are currently redeveloping the web site. While we will keep many of the features you have already seen, most of the work involves switching servers and updating internal software. Probably nothing that you will actually see... but fortunately stuff that the internet search engines need to see!!

If you check in and we are down, or you can't access certain features...this is the reason!! Sometimes tweaking takes time. That's why we are doing it now instead of in September or October!!!

You've stalled long enough...tonight is the FINAL NIGHT!!! The end, last chance! We will go quietly into the night not to be seen for eleven months!!! Time to see the SCARIEST Haunt in Las Vegas.. bar none!! We have more scares be square foot than ANY haunt in Vegas!!

We will open at 6:30 and stop selling ticket at midnight!! Remember if you buy a ticket to a haunt...you GO THOUGH the haunt!! Our actors WANT to scare you!!

We also have our Lights On Tour suggested for 10 and under. From 4:00 to 5:30pm. Lights on, no actors or scares. A $2.00 donation will ALL proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas.

Well procrastinate no longer!! This is the FINAL WEEK!!! Starting Nov. 1st. we disappear as quickly (even quicker) than we appeared! Where for the next ten months new scares, new scenes will develop in the twisted minds of our creators to slowly morph themselves into each attraction!!! But you won't get to experience that until NEXT season!!! Don't miss out! Experience what no movie or book can ever deliver...REAL FEAR!!!
We will be open from Wednesday though Halloween. We begin admitting at 6:30pm closing at 10pm on Wed, then midnight right through to Halloween!!! Miss out and you'll regret it for 11 months!!

For the little ones: Lights On Tour, Halloween 4-5:30pm, suggested for 10 and under, no actors, no scares, lights on back scene tour. It's just a $2.00 donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities ^®of Greater Las Vegas!!

LIGHTS ON TOUR

On Halloween day from 4-5:30 pm we will once again do our LIGHTS ON TOUR that benefits the Ronald McDonald House! This is a special behind the scenes tour with no actors or scares for those too young to experience the attraction in full operation!!!

This tour is suggested for those ten and under with a $2.00 donation per person. All proceeds go directly to the Ronald McDonald House of Southern Nevada!!

OPENING WEEKEND!!!!

Don't bother what the temperature says...IT's FALL!!! And that means the HAUNTS are OPEN!!!!
Evening will be beautiful so come on out and "Get Your Scare On!!"

We open at 6:30pm! Close at midnight Saturdays and 10pm on Sundays!! If you just can't get away this weekend, we open his Thursday through Sunday!!!

We have an awesome group of actors this season who are just "dieing" the scare the cra@#out of someone....why not you????

Come on out, the lines won't be bad yet, the weather's cooperating and the actors are aching for some "fresh meat". We are easy to get to right on Craig Road across from the new Craig Ranch Park. Just off the I-15, we are minutes from anywhere!!!

There is only ONE zombie movie being released during the Haunt Season...THE DEAD!!

We were chosen by the production company to be the "Official Las Vegas Haunt" associated with the movie release. You will see us included in their promotion of the movie here and we will assist by adding links here and doing several on site promotions.

Join us at several of our radio's live broadcasts to win tickets to the movie and other swag!!! This film has already garnished several noted acclamations!! It is the must see movie of the season!

THE FUN BEGINS!!!!

Well summer is offically OVER for those of you who are Haunt Enthusiasts....we are moving on site to begin our THIRTEENTH SEASON!!!! Watch as the barren dirt lot begins to team with life....or some of the undead!!!

We're right across from the new Craig Ranch Park at the Craig Promenade Shopping Center! Actor auditions will be on site this Thursday September 15th and Friday 16th at 7:00 pm. IF you think you have what it takes to join the Valley's BEST Haunt Cast.......be there!!!!!

Macabre Theatre is a nationally syndicated program that features classic horror movies. We were first featured on the old local "Count Cool Ryder" show our very first year!! The "Count" is now seen on Pawn Stars creating custom cars and cycles!

Macabre Theatre features Ivonna Cadaver, who is the Elvira of the new millienum!! (Sorry Count, she's a LOT better looking!!)

Mohr Production of North Hollywood came out to shot what was suppossed to be a quick three minute piece. After they got here and saw the attractions, the piece sort of grew!!! They filmed for over three hours!!! Although it was short notice a couple of our "residents" were in attendance to add some "life" to the undead shoot!!!

COUNTDOWN BEGINS!!!!

Even though it's 105 and muggy...countdown to the Halloween Season begins!!! Rich spend the summer in Vegas so there are a lot of changes, some little, some big to the attractions!! Main focus this year was the Hotel. A lot of what was done was repairs, fixing things. Seems MOST of the damage was actor induced!! We'll have to address that this season!!

We started switching all of the scenic lighting over to LED pin spots! This allows us the ability to highlight areas and even add a little color without flooding the room with light. Also it is about a tenth of the power useage which is something to consider when on a generator!!Has a real cool look to it!!!

The big change is that The Laundry Room is gone, folded so to speak!! In its place is a new Dining Room! Flows better, dining room to kitchen! All new LED lighting, and a lot of flickering candle effects!! Kitchen has a few updates...I will have to take ALL objects out of the hands of the actor in there!!! Do you realize what it takes to beat a pressure cooking pot into a flat pan??? These actors ARE crazy!!

So you'll just have to come out this season and look for the changes and improvements.

Well believe it or not we have passed the halfway point to Halloween!!

We’ve decided to use this Blog to provide more information for you leading up to our 2011 season. We will not only be teasing you with tid bits of upcoming changes, but also be providing you with useful information that you can use.

People go to Haunted Houses because they like them! Simple! Many of you would probably like to do your own decorations at home, if you knew how. So we will also be providing some fun Haunt How-To’s you can use to create your own Halloween display!!

So it is best to check back on a regular basis, it will be fun!!!

Halloween in March????.

Believe it or not it was Halloween in March....at least in St. Louis!!!
For the sixteenth year the Transworld Haunt and Halloween Show showcased the newest the industry has to offer! There were vendors from all over the country, meetings, seminars and social activities for haunt owners and operators from all over the world!!

The Seminar Series brings in the best talent the industry has to offer to educate owners on everything from marketing to make-up, operation to special effects. It is what helps us all elevate our shows to the next level.

Once again our very own Rich Strelak was a featured lecturer. Rich is the only local Haunt owner that has taught at Transworld!! Just think, what you get to experience here locally at the Asylum and Hotel Fear is what other Haunt owners from around the country want to try and learn about!!!

WRANGLERS Visited CHAOS at the CANNERY!!.

Our very own Wranglers (who are currently in FIRST PLACE!) Got quite a scare in October!!
Players from the Las Vegas WRANGLERS® professional Hockey Team toured the ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR! This was right after the Las Vegas Wranglers® defeated the Bakersfield Condors 4-3 in their season opener!! Now NO ONE admittted to being scared....but there were some pretty big guys seen running from both exits!!! One Wrangler (who will remain nameless) wouldn't even step foot into the attractions!!! Thank goodness he's fearless on the ice!!!!
We would like to thank Coach Ryan Mougenel for accepting our invitation! It was great having the boys out for an evening of fun!! And congrats to the Coach for getting engaged!!! We met Tammy and she's quite a catch!!

The Wranglers have quite a team this year!! Go see a game!!!!
Support our local Hockey Team...hockey is the only sport that supports Halloween.... horror characters have worn hockey masks for years!!!
