ZOMBIE WALK

The Zombie Squad has announced a Zombie Walk in Boulder City this year. Following is info from their facebook page. With our new home at the Meadows Mall we will look into more "zombie" activities!! Walk this site for more info as it develops!! This is a link in our LINKS Section to their organization (should Zombie even BE organized????)  Here's the Zombie Walk info:

An influx of Zombie hordes are once again shuffling their way towards Boulder City, Nevada, scheduled to hit the city on October 19th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.! ZSC009, the Las Vegas chapter of the Zombie Squad, will be on hand to corral the infestation but your help is needed! Zombie hunters unite!

Those steering the moaning Undead down the city streets of BC will reach their final destination at: Boulder Dam Brewing Company (453 Nevada Way) which will be hosting live music and a tantalizing raffle fundraiser.

The walk will begin at approximately 7:00pm and ends at Boulder Dam Brewing Company with a zombie bash, complete with live music and a raffle to raise funds for the cause.

Members of the Zombie Squad will be arriving before the walk, so feel free to show up early and mingle, chat, or practice shuffling!

We are asking a $5 donation from attendees. This money, and the money from the raffle tickets will go to the Nevada Veterans Assistance League. These proceeds go directly to the residents of the Nevada Veterans Home, whose mission is “Caring for America's Heroes” by providing care to those who have earned special recognition through their sacrifices in protecting our Country's freedoms and our individual rights (to fight zombies).

If you bring in a gently-used cell phone(s) (and battery; accessories are a also appreciated), you will receive a free raffle ticket(s). These cell phones will be donated to Cell Phones for Soldiers, an organization making it possible for soldiers serving overseas to call home to loved ones.

We will have a makeup artist on site for those who are zombie impaired. Live bands to “shuffle” the night away, along with great food and fresh brew.

This will be an all age event and the Brew Pub is open to everyone of all ages.

Once bands and the rest of the details are hammered out we will update this event page. Spread the word and help us make this year bigger than it was last year!
