We are saddened to announce that Horror maven, Wes Craven is with us no more!! The famed maestro of horro known for such classics as the Nightmare on Elm Street and the Scream franchises, died Sunday after a battle with brain cancer. He was 76.
Craven's first feature film was in 1972, The Last House on the Left. which he wrote and directed. His most well known franchise, A Nightmare on Elm Street which he also wrote and directed, debuted in 1984.
A prolific director, among his other well know tales of horror are; The Hills Have Eyes, Scream, My Soul to Take, Swamp Thing, Deadly Friendly and The People Under the Stairs.
Thank you and farewell old friend, you made our nightmares complete!
